What's included

Heat pump installation, repair & service under one roof

AnyWeather covers every heat pump need, from a single repair to a new geothermal system. We service air-source heat pumps — including units we didn't install — and install new Tempstar and geothermal systems sized to your home.
How they work

How a heat pump works

A heat pump moves heat instead of making it. In summer it pulls heat out of your home to cool it; in winter it pulls heat from the outside air or the ground and brings it inside.

AC Installation

Replacing an aging system? We size and install new high-efficiency units sized to your home.

Geothermal

Draws heat from the ground, which stays a steady temperature year round. Costs more upfront, but runs the most efficiently.

Dual-fuel

Pairs a heat pump with a gas furnace. The furnace takes over on the coldest days — efficiency most of the year, backup heat when you need it.

Heat pumps are rated by SEER2 for cooling and HSPF2 for heating. Higher numbers mean lower energy bills — we’ll help you pick the right efficiency for your home and budget.

Warning signs

Signs you need heat pump repair

Your heat pump usually shows a symptom before it quits. Call for repair when you notice any of these — catching them early often turns a major repair into a minor one.
Blows cold air in heat mode, or warm air in cool mode
Won't switch between heating and cooling
Airflow from the vents is weak
Turns on and off in short cycles
Water or refrigerant pooling around the indoor unit
Grinding, buzzing, or rattling noises
Runs constantly while your bills climb

Older system? We show you the repair cost and the replacement cost side by side — then you choose what makes sense.

Heat pump FAQs

Questions, answered

Yes. Modern heat pumps heat well through Tri-State winters. For the coldest days, a dual-fuel system adds a gas furnace that takes over when temperatures drop.

An air-source heat pump lasts about 12 to 15 years with regular maintenance. A geothermal system lasts longer — often 20 to 25 years — and the underground loop can last 50 years or more.

A heat pump heats and cools from one system, so you buy and maintain one unit instead of two. Its efficiency can also lower your monthly energy bills.

An air-source heat pump pulls heat from the outdoor air. A geothermal heat pump pulls heat from the ground, which costs more upfront but runs the most efficiently.

Incentives change often, and geothermal and air-source systems follow different rules. Ask AnyWeather about the current federal and state programs before you buy.

Yes. We offer 0% financing for up to 24 months for qualified buyers, through partners that include KEMBA and Synchrony Bank.
